Why I Built One Caribbean...
My journey started with over a decade working in the travel industry, collaborating alongside tourism boards across multiple Caribbean islands. During that time, I had a front-row seat to the beauty, culture, and raw potential of our region. I initially built this app to bridge the gap between island destinations and the global travel community.
Today, although I no longer live in the Caribbean, nurturing this platform into what it has become is how I honor my roots. I created One Caribbean so that the diaspora—and anyone who holds the islands close to their heart—has a dedicated space to remain deeply connected to their homeland, their birthplace, and their rich heritage.
